We have installed a nintendo wii with several games and two controllers into the games room for our juniors to enjoy.
Juniors Rules
1. Juniors are governed by the Bye-Laws of the club which can be viewed on the Club Website. www.waterfordgolfclub.com. Special attention should be made to the Etiquette and Dress Code.
2. Juniors may only enter the Bar or Restaurant to order or purchase food, minerals and snacks and must then go into the back room if consuming goods on the premises. They may only stay in the back room while eating or drinking goods purchased on the Premises.
3. Under no circumstances must Juniors remain in this area after 5:00pm in Winter.
4. Playing Times.
a. Public Holidays: Juniors may not play on Public Holidays before 2:00pm in Winter and 4:00pm in Summer.
b. Saturdays. Juniors may not play on Saturday before 2:00pm in winter and 4:00pm in Summer.
c. Sunday: Juniors may not play before 2:00pm in Winter and 3:00pm in Summer.
d. Juniors may not be in the club grounds on weekends and Bank Holidays before Midday.
e. Juniors may not be in the club grounds on Wednesdays after 4:30pm
f. Juniors may not play on Tuesday without prior permission
g. Junior members who are involved in club teams may use the course and practice ground as approved by Team Manager.

5. Competitions. Any Junior Male Member who has a current handicap of 15 or less may play in Mens Singles competitions on Sunday but may not play before 11:30am and must play with Senior Members. They will not be eligible to win first prize and will be charged a reduced entry fee. Exception to this is Captains and Presidents Prizes when Juniors may not play at all. Juniors may not put their name on timesheets for any competition until two days before competition. Juniors may not play in Fourballs or team events.
6. Truancy: Any Junior Member who enters the course while playing truant from school may be expelled from the club at the Board of Directors meeting immediately following the incident.
7. Male Student Members with a Handicap of 15 or less may play in all club competitions but may not win first prize in Captains or Presidents Prizes.
8. Juniors joining the club may use the practice ground but may not play golf on the course until approved by the Junior Committee.
9. Juniors may not loiter in Pro Shop
10. Juniors may not loiter in Locker Room Area
11. Juniors must be 10 years or over in order to become a member of the club.
12. Juniors between the ages of 10 & 12 may not play golf unsupervised or without the permission of the Junior Committee.
Juniors are reminded to wash hands after golf to avoid risk of contamination by chemicals that may be used on the course.
